About the Fund
Nippon India Credit Opportunities AIF Scheme 2 (NICO 2) aims to generate meaningful risk-adjusted returns over traditional fixed-income investment options by investing in credit opportunities across sectors. The fund focuses on businesses with established promoter track records, proven business models, financial flexibility and visible cash flows. At full deployment, it envisages a diversified portfolio of approximately 10–15 issuers, with an average holding period of 3–3.5 years. The fund targets a gross annualised yield range of 13%–16% and aims to facilitate periodic cash distributions. Its investment approach may include structured credit opportunities supported by security arrangements and defined repayment mechanisms. The target fund size is ₹1,000 crore, with an additional ₹1,000 crore green-shoe option, and the tenure is 5.5 years from the first close, extendable by two years. Returns and distributions are not guaranteed, and the fund does not provide capital protection.
